Almost 19 weeks and have been having some serious acid reflux at night i cant sleep!?

I dint eat before bed and only drink water in the evening. i need some ideas to make it stop i have a long road ahead still!

I've had the same problem! Have you tried Tums? they were on my "safe" list and work like a dream!

Ask your OB for Zantac. I don't think I would have made it through my pregnancy without that.

Tums always worked for me. I usually had to take the max dosage but they worked like a charm.

I have the same problem my doc told me Zaneta is good and you can take up to 3 or 4 a day it helped me alto

you can use tums, but prefaced works best for that,, and its now OTC and Oreg category B so your safe to take it i took it with both pregnancies. just make sure to take it 30 Min's prior to eat and laying down. i usually take mine before lunch, and it last 24 hours! the OTC strength is only 15 mg but you can take 2 if needed. good luck!

I Refuse To Take Medicine While Prego, But That's Just Me. I Also Know Acid Reflux Is A Real Pain !
My Suggestions:
1. Tums
2. Drink A Cold Glass Of Milk
3. Chew Sugarless Gum.
The Sugarless Gum Trick Really Works For My Heartburn.

TUMS. have definitely been my life saver through out this whole pregnancy! and my doctor said they are safe to take.
