My mom keeps saying that its because I'm dirty and that I dont wash my fash good. I used a cleanser and srub everyday. I used to have acne long time ago too but then I started using proactive and it got better. My skin was really good and I thought I didnt have to use Proctive anymore. Like 2-3 days after I started seeing my acne. I didnt want use Proactive again cus I heard it can damage yur skin and it has a chemica in it that makes your skin addicted to it. So what should i do?
I am 35 and I still have outbreaks!I wash as required but beware of washing too much as this can rid you of essential oils and cause your skin to produce even more.
Your Mom is wrong in as much as acne is caused by hormones and bacteria. You need to visit a good dermatologist. And if Mom won't go along with that, then she has a HUGE problem.
can i just say that i have NEVER had any acne problems through out all my teens or whenever and now that i am 21 and everything i have a bad acne on my chin, it pisses me off i hate it but proactiv works for me!
Blemishes are partially genetic, so don't worry about what your mom says about being dirty. If in fact you are washing your face very good, perhaps you are not using the right products. You also should be concerned about your nutrition because beauty comes from the inside out. If you eat alot of oily, greasy foods, you will break out, so nutrition is important. I've included a few websites for you to check out. You are smart to not want to use Proactive and get back to natural answers to cure your acne. You can email me if you want to talk or want more information. ralphsrascals79@yahooNote that each website has several pages attached to it. Make sure you read it all. Share it with your mom, and let me know if I can help! If you can't access the pages, email me and I'll email you directly if you wish.
Acne forms when your pores get clogged by an oil called sebum and dead skin cells... and when a pore get's clogged it attracts a bacteria called P.acne which then multiplies in the clogged pore and causes acne.
