It took me only a couple of hours to get rid of a huge zit on my chin.
First, wash your face with hot water. The heat will open the pores. I prefer using apricot scrub by St. Ives. Use that to scrub your face, and scrub it for at least 5 minutes, and message your face properly as you do so. Wash with hot water again, and then apply ice or wash face with ice cold water. Put on an oil-free moisturizing lotion after wards.
To prevent them from coming back, so the same thing everyday (don't scrub all the time, use good face wash with micro beads) and get plenty of sleep and avoid oily food. Make sure you get enough bowel movements and drink lots of lemon.
