Default What is a good simple home remedy for acne? - 04-07-2009, 01:32 AM

I been using clearasil ultra for my acne but it's a little to harsh for my skin and hasn't been working that well. I've been using it for about 2 months and the acne goes away but leaves horrale red dots and by time they go away new acne comes. Does anyone know a simple home remedy to make that will help my acne, and maybe even help my dry skin? Also if you know any good products for acne that works well let me know. Thanks.

Hi

  1. Rub fresh garlic on and around pimples. Pimples will disappear without a mark with regular applications.
  2. Mix 1 tablespoon groundnut oil with 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice to prevent formation of blackheads and acne .
  3. Apply fresh mint juice over the face every night for the treatment of pimples, insect stings, eczema, scabies, & other skin infections.
  4. Ground drumstick pods and leaves and mix mixed with fresh lime juice, and apply on pimples. This is also good for blackheads and dark spots.
  5. Apply a paste of fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves over the face every night for 10-15 minutes and washed with warm water. This will prevent pimples, blackheads, and wrinkles.
  6. Mix groundnut oil with an equal amtount of fresh lime juice and apply on face. Leave for 10-15 minutes and wash. It may be applied daily to prevent formation of blackheads and pimples (acne).
  7. Apply juice of raw papaya (including the skin and seed) on swelling pimples or acne.
  8. Apply fresh lime juice mixed to a glass of boiled milk as a face wash for pimples, blackheads, and cracked skin.
Thanks

Tea tree oil is a natural antibiotic and antibacterial agent and has a drying effect on the skin. It keeps the P. Acnes bacteria at bay along with decreasing facial oiliness, which makes this oil a worthwhile investment. Then Topical antibiotic solutions and lotions can also be applied. Sulfur too helps to heal existing blemishes by unblocking pores.

It is quite easy to see which foods can increase an acne problem oily, greasy and fatty foods are very clear both eyes and taste buds. Mayonnaise, eggs and some salad dressings are also included in foods to avoid in an acne diet.

Step 1 is an antibacterial face wash. You just use it in the shower.
Step 2 is a Corrective Toner.
Step 3 is a Lotion that keeps your face from drying. If your face gets dry then it begins to produce sebum to compensate. Sebum causes pimples. Acne Free didn’t work for me until I began using cotton balls for step 2 and 3 so make sure you do that.

Apply toothpaste to the acne before going to sleep or a of honey and cinnamon. Just make sure you use the old kind of tooth paste not the gel-type one.

Acne is an inflammatory skin disorder which is commonly seen in teenagers. Make a paste of grinned orange peel with some water and apply on affected areas. You must wash your face twice a day. Apply juice of raw papaya on swelling pimples or acne.
