Cam,Do yourself a favor and see your doctor. Thyroid issues and anemia can be found with simple blood tests. No sense in worrying when it's easy to find out.Good luck.

The only way to know for sure is from the blood test results. They will show what thyroid hormones you're lacking and if you are anemic.Symptoms from thyroid can be like other illnesses, but the only way to know for sure is through bloodwork.

With a thryoid problem if you feel tired or have weight gain more then usual that could be a sign .That can be underactive thryoid .Over active thryoid you have more energy ,but there is medication for that called"Synthroid"it can be treated , but always check with your DR. first .

At 17 its highly unlikely that you have a thyroid problem (ive just been told that by my doctor because i thought i had one lol)and quite alot of woman are anemic and it should show up if you have a blood test (which i recomend)somes signs of anemia are* fatigue* weakness* not doing well in work or school* low body temperature* pale skin* rapid heartbeat* shortness of breath* chest pain* dizziness* irritability* numbness or coldness in your hands and feet* headacheand ways to prevent it:Eat foods high in iron:* red meat* fish* chicken* liver o eggs* dried fruits, like apricots, prunes, and raisins* lentils and beans* green, leafy vegetables, like spinach and broccoli o tofu o cereal with iron in it (iron-fortified)hope this helped

If you are anemic a sign could be feeling cold all the time, as for your thyroid symptoms can be very different depending if it is over/underactive.The only way to tell for sue is a blood test. Talk to your doc.

there are some symptoms that you may have with over functioning thyroid. Like:-hot intolerance( you feel hot most of the time)-Diarrhea, or loose stool-irregular periods-dry skin, hair loss-fine shakes of hands-fluctuating mood-Tachycardia( Fast heart beats)Some symptoms with under functioning thyroid:-Cold intolerance-Constipation-Sad mood-wet skin-feeling tiredWith anemia the most common symptoms are:-low energy, feeling tired-dizziness(esp: when you get up of the chair)-pale skinBUT without Blood test, no one can tell you if you have one of them .Also this symptoms can be related to some other diseases.Anemia and Thyroid problems are serious health issues. You need to see your DOC, to be examined, and check blood test.Don't waste your time, go to your DOC and have blood test, it's simple it's not expensive, and there are treatment for them.Good luck.
