I think that's a myth.Most vegans don't have a problem with anemia.Also there are different kinds of anemia, so it might not necessarily be caused by not eating meat.Just eat a good variety of vegetarian foods you'll be fine.You could probably take supplements too.

To stop becoming anemic eat green vegetables because they are rich in protein and vitamin in it. These vitamin help to increase blood and do yoga. This both thing help to did not being anemic.
