What you are feeling are common side effects after blood donation. Eating a meal and drinking fluids should help.If you were anemic they could not use your blood and would tell you if you were, then give you advice. (Who are these"people"telling you you could be anemic? A professional? If not, see below)Donor centers strictly enforce screening guidelines and eligibility requirements to make sure that donating will not harm, you, the donor.For 24 hours after your blood donation:* Drink extra fluids* Avoid lifting with the arm used during your donation* Avoid strenuous exercise (hot showers included)* Avoid taking aspirin or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others)Only a blood test can tell you if you were really anemic. But since you say it happens after you donate, see above.
