My grandma is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, one of my brothers has Aspergers and my youngest brother has Autism. I have been around these people for so long that I have no idea what normal is. Tips on being normal?

That must be tough! "Normal" is overrated though, just work on developing your own "self" and dint' get sucked into any of the madness. Find hobbies that interest you (music, friends, reading etc), expand your friend circle (this can be a great support system), and if you need to, dint' hesitate to talk to a professional (it can be hard to be around all of that).

Some of the best writers, poets, thinkers, and doctors grew up in dysfunction....keep your focus and you'll be just fine

There is no "normal" situation as each house hold is imperfect. So your family isn't "crazy", just unique upon itself. It's a misfortune in your case that you are surrounded by people whom you love that have a mental illness. These people will be with for the rest of your life. My advice to you is learn about their disorders, accept them for who they are and try to complement them in doing things to assist them. Regarding you mom, it isn't helpful in any case if she's smoking meths. This could worsen her bipolar. Try to get her to stop for the sake of her family. She may need to be "nudged" a little to try to change her ways. But express the conditions of your family and the fact you need a mom whom can take care of assist you as a child. Feel fortunate enough that you where not endowed with any sort of illness and that perhaps,in a way,you can be a leader of the family, in regards to your age. Don't think your family is "crazy!" Maybe a little rocky because of the living situation. Another suggestion is family counseling. This way you can express your concerns to your family in a productive way and the therapist can guide you to healthier and easier living situation. Don't be afraid to express your concerns to your family and take the inactive. Help is always there, you must first be receptive to it. Good luck!!
