Smokers are much more prone to lung cancer than someone who doesn't smoke. But people who are smokers and die from the consequences of it will not ALL die from lung cancer, no. There are more health related problems that come from smoking than just getting lung cancer.

No, but then who gets it and who doesn't can be a crap shoot. And lung cancer isn't the only cancer or illness to worry about. And then there's just the way smokers, their homes, cars, and belongings smell. Not worth it in my opinion.

No. Some will die of pneumonia, some will die of COPD, some will die of emphysema and some will die from cancer and some will die of old age.

100% of smokers do not get cancer. Of course, smoking increases the chance of getting cancer greatly. Actually, those who breathe in the second-hand smoke from smokers are at greater risk for cancer.
