Question What if the patient is unable to give consent for first aid? - 02-18-2013, 08:28 AM

Hi Members,

First aid if the patient is unable to give consent, are you still covered by the good Samaritan act? Basically are you liable for further injuries or death if you help them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot

When a person contracts this disease, they begin to feel a lot of emotions at once. They are scared and angry, confused and hurt. It is recommended that HIV positive patients receive some type of counseling.
