Yes. It is a good thing to not have so much cholesterol or have it at all. Cholesterol is bad for you. If you eat stuff with it, it will pay for eating so much when you get older.

nope.. I would go for a low cholesterol diet instead of cholesterol free diet. Cholesterol is an essential nutrient for our body which is an important constituent of our cell membrane. Its also important for synthesizing bile salt and production of certain steroid hormones like testosterone. Furthermore, our body would need ' raw material to synthesis our own cholesterol. About 60% of the cholesterol is synthesis by our own body....

You need some cholesterol...There are two types--HDL and LDL. HDL is good cholesterol and LDL is bad cholesterol. LDL builds up on the inner walls of the your arteries. It can turn into plaque, a hard substance that can clog your arteries. If there is a clot and blocks an artery, you can have a heart attack or stroke. HDL is 'good' because it can protect against a heart attack. HDL can also keep LDL away from arteries.

EVERYONE should eat foods low in saturated fat, keep a healthy weight, and exercise.
