Breastfeeding does help lose the weight. My wife lost an add'l 10 lbs in addition to all my baby weight. Your body has to work very hard to produce the milk, so even with the added calories, your metabolism is working hard. she would stay far, far away from diet pills. Especially if nursing. Just go for walks with your baby and eat sensibly.

These healthy diet tips, if followed correctly and religiously, can very well change the way you look at dieting.

I tend to agree with the thought that it took you 9 months to put the weight on so allow 9 months to lose it again. It's also important that you don't do anything too drastic, your body has been through enough, also, if you're breastfeeding you can't afford to cut down too much on calories.
You can eat sensibly though and once you're feeling up to it you can get outside and walk. Put your baby in a buggy or sling, check your posture, put some earphones in with some music with a beat, and get out there. Some areas do workouts for mothers, an organised routine you do with other mothers with your baby in a buggy.
Good luck.

If you want to lose weight, then first you need to rectify that how much weight you have gained. According to that you need to plan your diet routine along with a regular exercise.
