I've had it for a couple of days now and the nasal sprays don't work neither do meds. When im walking around or standing up for a while its fine,but when i sit or lay down for a while it clogs like crazy. How do I get rid of this?

Cut it off. LOL I also have allergies about 9 months out of the year, When the phone rings everyone always says (I'm sorry did I wake you up?). I wish there was an easy answer. Sorry.

Take a hot shower and breathe through or try to through your nose. all the nastiness in your nose will liquify

Sniff some of the Vicks Vapor stuff. Also I know this sounds simple, but try blowing your nose. Just to let you know, do not put the vapor rub directly on your nose, as it will leave a red burning sensation. Just put the jar to your nose and sniff. Hope this helps.

The only nasal spray I can use is Rhinaris and only when absolutely necessary. If your problem of breathing is only when laying down then you should get that tape that goes over your nose - gosh what's it called now - can't find it on internet with search term using. You just tape it across your nose bridge. I used it a few times when my dad was visiting and it did wonders for me.I also have my own little remedy may not be advisable but it works for me! I take a qtip and dip it in vicks vaporub making sure to remove any excess (squeezing the qtip with my fingers) and then I take that and gently rub the inside of my nostrils as far as is comfortable for me... and it works - I'm not recommending just telling you what works for me when nothing else does! good luck!!

Well, my first piece of advice is to eat something spicy or hot. you can use anything. but if that doesn't work, there is another method, called acupressure. It's really simple, and easy to do.Perform the below routine 3 times:----1. Perform 10 pressures on a cavity at the corner of the nostrils (point 1). You should almost close and open the nostrils when you do the round movement.2. Perform 10 pressures on a cavity just below the corner of the eyes near the nose (point 2)3. Perform 10 pressures on a cavity just below the ear, behind the earlobe (point 3)4. Massage the earlobe 10 times (point 4)After performing the above 3 times, you should feel immediate relief of your nasal congestion. It is advised to return on the above procedure again in about 10 minutes to make it more permanent or the congestion could return.P.S. Go to the address below for more instructions, with pictures and everything.AND if that doesn't work, try lying down on your stomach with your face facing sideways. Just sleep like that. It will allow you to get at least half of a good nights sleep. however, you have to deal with the stuffy nose again in the morning. THIS IS A LAST RESORT!!!
