First thing I would do is call your neurologist and tell him that you are unable to afford Lamictal (latrine).NE
It is typically not possible to get free medication, there are programmes to get cheaper medication however most of these are aimed at people unable to afford brand name medication. Since a generic is available for Lamictal that is not really an option.

One of the best options would be using a cheaper medication that you can afford even without health insurance. Depending on the type of epilepsy you have will have a big impact on which medications are a good option. Side effects are also major factors in medication choice- the cheapest medications are older and tend to have higher rates of side effects compared to newer medication (eg., lamotrigine, topiramate) . However older medication (eg., phenytoin, phenobarbital) is equally as effective as newer medication for most forms of epilepsy.

Medications that are most effective, and most commonly used, for a more generlized epilepsy include carbamazepine, phenytoin, valproate/divalproex, phenobarbital, oxcarbazepine, levetiracetam, and topiramate.

Generic phenytoin, carbamazepine, topiramate, oxcarbazepine, valproate/divalproex, and phenobarbital are typically the cheapest medications. The cheapest medication is phenobarbital which costs under $ 15.00 USD in America. It is the oldest antiepileptic drug (AED) still used, it is the most used AED in the world, it is just under 100 years old (so it has a long safety record), and it works as well as just about as about any other drug. It is not as commonly used due to is higher rates of side effects especially drowsiness compared to newer drugs.

Your doctor should be able to help you figure out the best option for you taking into account price, efficacy, side effects, and other factors.

Individual or Family Health Plan
It is the major health insurance plan for the individuals and families. If you're looking for the comprehensive and long term health insurance coverages for yourself and your family members that are sixty two yrs old or younger, then it is the plan to select.

Medical Discount Plans
ideal for those people who can not afford or qualify for the traditional health insurance. The providers offer the discounted health services for the quite low monthly fee. The Benefits contain a range of the discounts for dental, vision, prescriptions, doctors, hospitals, vitamins, and other health services.

Short Term Medical Plan
This plan is best for the individuals in transition. Maybe you just have graduated from the college and are no longer covered under the student health insurance or maybe you just moved out on your own, and you are not covered under your parent's medical insurance plan anymore. Or maybe you are employed part-time, leaving your home for the first time, going to school,or even retire early. Perhaps you have found one new job, but the group health insurance plan of your new employer will not kick in until you have been with months.

It is a common situation that you met like many other persons,be patient, check the resource from here ?? WNW.HealthInsuranceIdeas.info ?? i found quite useful to solve my similar issues.
