I do not use eye liner, just mascara and eye shadow. But lately, they have been making my eyes abit irritated. Are there types of eye make up that helps avoid this?

yea what Eddie said. hypoallergenic, because you might be developing an allergy to your makeup. try MK's special formula makeup and mascara.

Cream eyeshadow is the best bet for sesitive eyes. Eyeshadow with fleks of glitter and things like that are prone to give off irritated eyes!

there is this company called arbonne, they sell great stuff, thier mascara doesnt have bat guano (poop) in it. its mostly hypoallergenic, it all depends on how sesitive you are. I have been using thier products for a year now and i havent had any problems, and i have sensitive eyes as well. most of the shades for eye shaodows and everything are neutral so if you are looking for more of an evening look it may not be what you want, but you should check it out. it can get a little costly tho, if you dont want to spend that much, may i suggest using a liquid or gel like shadow, that way it sticks to your eye lid and wont fall down into your eye. And putting a little vaseline on the lid and then wiping it off, before you put on eyeshadow always works well too.

Yea hypoallergenic and there are a lot more cosmetic companies making them now too.

Make sure you get a fresh mascara every month though, because the bacteria on your eyes get on the brush/wand(whatever you call it) builds up and can cause irritation too. And I agree the eye shadow powder tends to get in eyes more than the cream shadows.
