Default How long will the grief last? - 01-07-2009, 11:25 PM

My former wife, whom I still loved recently committed suicide. I have bad grief right now. What are the stages of grief? I am all over the place with emotions from anger to great sadness.

my condolences. Grief will last a while, but having friends to be with and talk to will help so dont isolate yourself.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. It must be really tough to be going through this. How long ago did this happen?I don't think there is a set period of time for going through the grieving process. Different people take different amounts of time. It all depends on the person and who the person who died was.It might be helpful for you to talk to a mental health professional a few times to help you figure out how to deal with all these emotions.

They say time will heal all wounds. I have had a few losses in my life and you never ever really get over with it you just learn of how to deal with it better. The love never stops just because someone is dead. I think you will have some feelings for the rest of your life but they wont be as crippling as what you are going through now. Believe me it will get better and you wont think of them all the time. Be strong and remember you keep them alive in your mind and thoughts.

Friend you have to always be busy for the end of your grief, You have to do any task at every time. This will navigate your mind. and you do not remember your wife. It is not easy task to forget the wife, but with the passage of time your grief will definitely ends.
