Default Lots of Tips for Healthy Living - 02-05-2011, 12:16 AM

Hi, I am new here also. I have written quite a few articles on healthy living. Exercise (the right kind for you), juicing, eating enough antioxidant foods, and taking in enough sun and/or vitamin D are essential to good healthy living. You can read some of my articles at Tidbits for Healthy Living and Natural Stress Busters. I also write several blogs dealing with health. My advice is to simplify your life as much as possible. Also, to smile and show kindness to as many people as you can. All of this contributes to the spirit of health and healing in your body. I hope this helps.

Most foods prepared today to be fast and straightforward are a quantity of the worst things you are able to put in your body. Eating anything processed is hard on the body and to cover all the chemicals, they add a lot of sugar.

The first thing is to eat a balanced diet. Eat more fruits & vegetables, get rid of high-sugar, processed foods. Therefore, the second, taking vitamins & minerals help your body work properly. The fourth thing to do is exercise. Exercise makes you feel nice, & keep you motivated to do other things well.

Great tips here. Most everyone has said it, but I'll say it a little differently. Moderation

It's okay to eat fatty/sugary foods, just don't make it the mainstay of your diet.
It's okay to drink a little, but keep it to a little
Smoking, is the exception, it should be avoided altogether.
Exercise/activity - get some everyday

I would also say a healthy spirit leads to healthy living also. Knowing that Jesus saves me from myself, gives me tons of peace and helps me with stress, anxiety, etc. Forgiveness can be very healthy.

Lastly, pick good friends, pick good books and be careful what you put in front of your eyes. Wanting more is never healthy, unless, of course, you want more health.

If you have an office with stairs, run up and down the stairs every couple of hours. Get your blood flowing and your muscles moving. It may be a good idea to steer clear of the biscuit tin before you go shopping. A team from the University of Singapore recently discovered that the smell of chocolate chip cookies.
