The answer to your question is NO. it can not make you crazy. BTW, what type of hepatitis are you referring to? If it is hepatitis C then here's the scoop on that. There are three stages: 1st. stage can be treated with medication. This medication is intravenous for six months. It may have side effects such as serious vomiting and flu like symptoms or loss of hair. This depends on the individual though. The cure rate is 95% in stage one. In stage two it is dropped down to 65% and in stage three it is more like 5%. But not everyone can take the medication, especially those with serious lung conditions. I am one of those and my pulmonary specialist has informed me that the risk factor is way too high for me. My lungs could fail due to the side effects. I was informed that I would not get majorly sick for roughly 30yrs. But I will develop cirrhosis of the liver then and will need a transplant. Without it, cancer sets in and then death quickly follows. This is not meant to scare you. But rather to better inform you of how serious hepatitis C really is.
