I am 28 weeks pregnant and my left hip is killing me. Has been for the last month and a half. I talked to my doctor about it and got the usual. (Your hips are most likely speading, take tylenol for pain) He also has me going back to my chiro. for it. Needless to say nothing is helping. Any one else have this problem while pregnant? If so how did you cope?
i laid on the opposite side of wich the pain was alot of the pressure and pain comes from the babyalso warm relaxing baths work wonders do some stretching to
I am having that problem also right now. It is caused by your hips spreading most of the time. Sometimes if it is really sharp the hip spreading could be causing pain in the sciatic nerve. that is the nerve on the outside of your hip and runs down the leg. i didn't have this with my other two, but with this one I do. try and do some stretching daily, this may help. good luck
I had this with all three pregnancies. Swimming really helped me. Being in the water helps relieve pressure. And you can stretch so much better in the water. Hang in there you are over half way there.
i had the worst, sharp pain, in my lower back hip area, felt like knives were stabbing in me, i would get my husband to massage it, but i think my baby was sitting on some nerve or something and it was causing all the pain, as soon as i had her poof no more pain
