I have the auto-immune disease hypothyroidism and I was wondering if it could possibly make my immune system weak.I always catch every single illness going around, I can be around someone sick for 3 seconds and I catch it really bad, If I practically even think of germs I get sick.I was just wondering if this had any connection.PLEASE HELP!!!

Yes it definitely can affect your immune system. When your disease is under control your resistance to illness will also improve.

Not sure, but i would say yes because auto-immune means you body is attacking itself. The cells can't tell the difference between the good and bad cells.
