I had a couple of newborn outfits that fit my son when we left the hospital and, because of his body shape, they lasted a little bit longer than they should have for weight sizing. It's so hard to know what you're going to end up with for size because babies aren't always so tiny anymore. Maybe buy a couple of newborn sleepers or outfits in case you have your baby sooner or they actually are a small baby. The 0-3 months clothes are the safer bet.A friend recently had a 10 lb baby and didn't need any of her newborn clothes!

I would say go with the 0-3 months then the baby won't grow out of them so fast. Babies grow very fast.
