Why do infertile women and sterile women have periods if they can't get pregnant? -

This is something that has been on my mind lately and I'm wondering why sterile and infertile women continue to have a period even though they can never have children or like me are having trouble getting pregnant. Doesn't your period mean that you are fertile?
No. Fertility is a complex interaction between hormones and ovulation, period, ph balance, etc. Just because you get a period doesn't necessarily mean you ovulate and if you do it might not be at the traditional time. There are lots and lots of factors.
Ovulation and menstruation are two separate things. Although there is a connection. You can have a period and not ovulate. You can ovulate but have problems with implantation. Infertility is a very complicated issue.
i don't know why i am not a doctor, but let me tell you something, if Allah wants you to have kids you will have insha Allah. my aunt got married and her first pregnancy was 15 years after marriage.
