♥as long as the child's needs are taken care of, do you think its healthy or nessessary to tell them they have a learning disability? For their self esteem and self image I mean, or in what way as a parent should you explain it to them so they will understand and know that they are still just as good as anybody else?

Most children are and should be told that they have some kind of learning disability. This will help them to learn what their specific challenges are and how to cope with them.

its not nessacary to tell them for more than one reason ;the self esteem thing , knowing thet are different may socially isolate them and they may use it as a way to differ from school work once they get frustrated

i think that it is better because it is difficult for everyone to see a child with a l;earning disorder but you should tell the child that they do but let them know that their are other people like it...

No it gives them an excuse to fail and its something they need not worry about. Thats what we adults are for to handle the worries let your child enjoy their youth and hopes for the future. Also you might want to have the diagnosis checked outside of your school to verify they are correct and have them placed in private school with smaller classes.

I think it truely depends on if the child is aware that they may be having a more difficult time in learning. If the child isn't aware of it, then there really isn't a reason to cause this little one stress and worry. But if they are starting to notice that they are a little different than their classmates, then it might be beneficial to explain to them that their struggles are not their fault and part of the learning disorder.
