In L/m please.And also the average lung capacity of an athlete in the same age range in L/m.Thanks!I assure you this is not homework! I'm just a little confused with the lung capacity exhaler in my gym!

I hope you're asking this from a health&fitness point of view as I don't like wasting my time doing kids homework.In the average adult, the amount of air that can be exhaled from a deep breath is about 4.5 liters (8.4 pints). A well-trained athlete has a greater lung capacity. The average amount of air s/he could exhale from a deep breath is 6.5 liters (12 pints).Men have greater lung capacity than women, non-smokers, have better lung capacity over smokers, other issues like asthma, emphysema, bronchitis also affect lung capacity.
