Ticks and other biting insects will always have Lyme bacteria. My whole family (Mom, dad, brother, two sisters and myself) have it. I didn't have a bite so I had probably gotten it from either living in the woods with a lot of mosquitoes, breast milk or birth. Since you gotten a tick bite, your chances of Lyme Disease or Tick Borne Disease (same as Lyme) is veryTyigh. Symptoms depend on what kind of Lyme. There are over Hundreds maybe thousands of Tick species and Hundred kinds of Lyme. I went to a Lyme doctor for symptom checks and treatment.
The symptoms are:
Muscles twitching/spasms
Joint pain
Muscle pain
spike fevers
constant sweats
confusion
emotional (rage,anger, depression...)
Weird confusing dreams
fatigue
heart flutters
period problems
testicle problems
pains in chest
rashes/eczema
ringing/ hissing sounds in the ears
Other serious symptoms are:
MS
blindness
disabilities (autism, ADD,ADHD, retarded)
Heart issues
organ problems
paralysis
and many more
Lyme disease is really scary! Its an epidemic and no one knows about it. Insurance doesn't always cover for the medications. And there's no cures! Many people and hospitals say there is but they don't know what Lyme is. Thats why is hard to find a doctor who specializes Lyme and understands it. I've been diagnosed 2-3 years ago, and Im still on medications and supplements to help my issues. Its best if you get a CD-57 test. If the results are 80 or over thats great but if its under 57 thats not good. The only diseases that show up on the CD-57 test is AIDS and Lyme.
I hope this helped you, I know it's scary, I've been scared when I found out I had Lyme. But once you get treatment and have it as your daily routine you'll be okay. But unfortuatly Lyme is permanant.
