I am also going through the menopause. I have had hot flushes for over two years, although they have become far less regular. My doctor has told me that I will probably experience them to a lesser degree for another couple of years. When they first started, they were horrendous, but I refused large hormone boosts and am used to them now, and am prepared to let them pass, eventually.. Good luck to your mum. At least you know what is happening to her and will know that she will be back to normal sometime soon... ------
