Default Menopause: increased or decreased sex drive? - 07-25-2010, 03:40 AM

I'm 22 and I met his mature woman at the club last weekend and we were talking and everything and started talking about sex. She said she was 43 yrs old and she was in her "prime" meaning she was at the peak of her sex drive. And i remember my girlfriends mom saying when you hit menopause you get a decreased sex drive. But I've also heard that you get an increase in your sex drive like the lady I met at the club. Which is true?

Being in her PRIME is FAR from menopause.... Being in her prime means that she is HORNY all the time. Menopause causes a loss in many of your bodies naturally produced endorphins so at that point she will lose her sex drive... But those two things are SO DIFFERENT>

The effects of menopause on the libido vary from woman to woman. There's no one answer for all of us. Libido can increase, decrease or remain the same.

It really really depends on the woman. Depends in her view on sex and her sex drive.

Some women have commented they can be more sexual after menopause because the fear of pregnancy is gone. There's certainly some logic to that. On the other side of the fence there is a decrease in hormone output that can cause a loss of libido and the inability for her to make natural lubrication.

Having said all that I dated a woman that was 44 when I was 30. She had a sex drive that beat any teenager. She was always ready to do anything any time.
