She says when you are busy you don't have time for that! I guess she never went Thur it!

It is possible - she may be right.

I went through it easy too.

I said YES to the last one I met. She was 60 and said she hadn't gone through menopause. She sure gave me reason to believe her. Sexy lady!!

My wife went through it at 40. I didn't see any negative changes and all are positive that I can see. She occasionally will have night sweats but not very often. She does say at times she feels as though she could ram her shopping cart into people in the store and then laugh at them, but she holds it back pretty well since I haven't had to bond her out of jail yet. Maybe she is thinking of me at those times.

The Doc didn't believe her at first when she told him she thought she was going through it but he did some checking and agreed that she had gone through it. She ( and I) was apparently lucky to go through it as easy as she had.

you are asking whether all women experience the symptoms typical of menopause, the answer is no. While most women do experience some kind of symptoms when hormone production by the ovaries declines, the extent and type of symptoms are extremely varied among different women. Not all women will experience symptoms of menopause in the same way.

When I was a 16 year old callow youth with as much knowledge about sex amid women as you have about, say, the Reproductive System of the Lesser Wombat, I was (gratefully) seduced by a 56 year old Lady. Since I was such a bumbling and ignorant incompetent, to this day I remain eternally grateful for her kindness and expertise.

I remember asking her once, 'how come you act like a young girl..? aren't you supposed to be staid and inactive as you get older..?'

she laughed and said, 'not me baby..! so shut up and kneel down again...!'

clearly, menopause was something that passed her by without her noticing it. and her teaching me about what to do to make your partner happy was something that not every male learns and that's a shame. because you get what you give in a relationship. that old moody blues line says it all:

all the love you've been giving,
has all been meant for you.

Hi Sandy Sue... Simply say: "that's okay... your body will do it for you anyway".
(NOTE... it is accurate to say reproduction capability ends at some point in time: the underlying 'sex drive', need NOT)

I have no idea what not believing in menopause means. If you live long enough, your period stops. For some people it's sooner rather than later, but it will stop. I've never met a woman who, at say 60, is still menstruating. So, what's not to believe??

She'll believe if she ever has a hot flash. I remember my first one, I thought my face was going to melt off. I still have night sweats and wake up with my pajamas and the bed soaked. I'd say she either is sailing through with no symptoms or she just hasn't started going through the wonderful transition. The up side is no more periods. Hooray!!

Well, it's possible, but if she hasn't had any periods, she's either been through menopause or going through it. I was lucky; mine was early (early 40's) but mild. I had a year of night sweats and that was it. As for sex drive diminishing, that's not necessarily true. As with anything, if you don't use it, you lose it. Knowing you can't get pregnant anymore is extremely liberating for the old libido!
