So what is a man's excuse when he acts irrationally? That he is just irrational?

Of course not. And neither is a 40 year old politician's time of month. Or a 30 year old. Women don't just lose their ability to act and think logically when they're on their period. My work has never been effected when I'm on my period. Do I feel horrible? Yes. But does it suddenly make me a terrible employee who is incapable of doing anything? No.

its an all purpose put down. i doubt the originator even knows about menopause, that's yukky women's stuff.
i used to have a few replies to turn the tables on sexist men who tried it when i was working as a commercial driver, it was a standard method in attempts to belittle and embarrass.

oh, and wot that's what she said said :-D

It shouldn't be an issue anyway, any more than the prostate problems experienced by many men of the same age. These are normal parts of life that people learn to deal with, especially people who work in the public eye.

Cheers :-)
