That is something you need a mid-wife to help with. It's not something you just decide over night.

Water birth can be an excellent tool for labour, but you need to make sure that it is done under the eye of a professional midwife, who can monitor the water birth, making sure that mother and baby are safe during the process. What you can do depends somewhat on where she is birthing. If she is giving birth in a hospital or birth centre then you will be doing less practical things, and more morral support. If she is giving birth at home then you can give her moral support and assist with practical things (from getting drinks and towels to helping prepare the birthing pool). your best bet is to ask your midwife as she is the expert on these things, and knows what needs to be done.

I agree .You might need to talk to this with your mom , and you might want to consult a doctor or mid-wife...Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best of luck

you need to be monitored by a mid wife or dr!! even though water births are typically not done in hospitals they still have monitors on the baby. you cant just do this on your own. its not safe for the baby or your mom. what if your mom hemmorages? a mid wife will know what to do.
