Please don't eat those. Pigs are dirty animals and step in pig crap all day long. People in foreign places eat anything though.

Stick with the ham only.

Pigs feet are not as fattening as you might think. It's important to note that this meat provides more protein and less fat than country-style pork spare ribs. If you don't believe me, here is the data to support. About 3 ounces of pork spare ribs contains 20g of protein and 18g of fat compared to pigs feet 21g of protein and 17g of fat.

As a known fact from many health studies, nothing from a pig is good to eat. Pig meat has the most parasites of any meat on the market.

They are cleaned up, then pickled in the jar.

Actually it's very unhealthy to eat pork, especially the feet as the feet are loaded with fat! Pork is not a very healthy food to begin with as pigs are fed a feed that has antibiotics, hormones, and a host of other toxins. Also pork is full of worms which must be cooked well done and pork is known to carry a virus. Yes a virus that won't kill us, however ,it can lower our immune system .
My advise to you is don't eat pork at all if you want to stay healthy.

Animal fat is not good to eat!

We all learned the same things about diet - five food groups

RED meat, foul,
Fish
Fresh Vegetables - not canned
Fresh Fruits - not canned
Grains

Eight Glasses of water per day - not Coke, (Soda), beer, or what ever WATER!

Over 75% of ALL disease would go away if people just drink 8 glasses of water per day and eat FRESH vegetables and fruits.

Nature did not intend for humans to eat out of cans or animal feet,or for babies to drink COW milk! That is why the human female have BREASTS!

You want to live long and healthy? EAT right, Drink water, exercise, stay away from MAN MADE CRAP! (Drugs in any form) and leave the feet alone!

Blacks, as slaves to whites, were often given only the pigs feet to eat.
