Alot say they do but I think the majority are bullshitters. When I was in the Marines every one and their dad was crying PTSD and all they did was sit on base. They didnt do a damn thing. So for the people who actually do have it, it takes time and money away from them just so the fakers can get it easy.

Iraq vets suffer from many problems from being there along with Post Traumatic Stress. Nearly 1 in 5 Iraq Vets, 15 percent of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans seeking medical care for it.The suicide rate is high, could be from Chemicals That are used in chemical weapons. Could be the American People Treating them and the war like Crap also. Also the Traumatic brain and hearing damage.

There was a report on PBS news tonight on this subject. Apparent;y the number of suicides among Iraq war vets has increased beyond the antional average. They are saying that with each tour of duty in Iraq the potential for suicide increases. The story revolved around this guy who had been a happy go luck guy with a wife and children but after his stints in Iraq he came home a changed man - angry, waking up with nighmares of dead bodies, blood and horrible visions. His kids became scared of him. His wife convinced him to go to the VA (His insurance had been cancelled) but the VA put h im off with paperwork and didn't want to take any responsibility - as usual. The guy couldn't take it much longer and blew his brains out.The government, gave the widow about enough money to bury him and that was it. After the story got out, the government gave her more money and the VA promised they'd look into dealing Post Traumatic Stress. We support our troops going to fight a senseless war for Iraqi opil to make the rich oil cartels richer, but we don't want them to bring any problems home or if they do we don't want to deal with them.I say;"Support our troops, BRING THEM HOME!"

Look your question comes down to this I was diagnosed with ptsd by an army doctor and well I guess there some truth to what they say but most people with ptsd aren't neccessarily sure they have it because shen they have triggers they don't remember them later or what triggered it alot of people say they have it but like one other person said most of them are full of bs and well to those who have it like me everyday is a struggle but just take it one day at a time and well about 1out of 5 have it
