i need an interesting/rare disorder to use during a general discussion in my college anatomy class. i'm a nurse so i'm very familiar with typical hospital illnesses... i'm looking to learn something new, and have something to present to my classmates. any suggestions on a topic?
Check out PPP (palmar plantar pustulosis) I did this disorder during my RN training....Interesting skin disorder, frequently a subject of misdiagnosis, not commonly found. Good Luck
Inflammatory Bowel Disease such as Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis. It's becoming more prevalent seeing as one of ABC's newscasters has Crohn's and is doing public service announcements about CCFA and raising $$$ for research to find a cure.I am more than willing to share everything I know via a patient's view point. I also have an ileostomy and had student nurses attend our local ostomy meetings to do their community service projects for school. They really enjoyed it b/c she learned from us and vice versa.
