Default Is it possible to have Restless Leg Syndrome in one leg? - 12-21-2008, 11:47 AM

Whenever I'm sitting still, my right leg gets really uncomfortable and I have to move it/switch sitting positions constantly. It's not painful, but it's really frustrating. I just HAVE to move it. It gets so bad most nights that I can't sleep at all and get so upset that I feel like screaming and/or crying. But it's only in my right leg. Is this Restless Leg (singular) Syndrome, or am I just going insane??

Restless Leg Syndrome is a sham created by pharmaceutical companies to get people to take another pill. Everyone, at some time or another, has had a"restless leg". If you just change positions to one where you're not compelled to shake your leg, you'll be fine. If you don't believe me, try it.. you'll find the position.

I have that to. I self-diagnosed myself a few years ago. The only thing that have found to help it, seriously, is to smoke a joint. Now, i'm not a huge pothead, I only smoke before bed-that's it and only for my legs. If I didn't I would be up all night, pissed off and in tears. Try it, it really does work.

As the poster above me said, restless leg syndrome is another way to get your money. You can take some calcium and the feeling will be gone. You can buy the tablets at any health food store. It has worked on everyone I've met with this problem.

you have RLS, not your leg. It is very possible that symptoms only persist in one leg.

There is some bad info here, it is not in your mind. Restless leg syndrome IS a condition that effect 1 in 10 people, yes that many can report having the symptoms. It is classed as a sleep disorder because it effect 3% of the populations sleeping patterns. This is a widely common condition but not spoken of much basically due to the way people describe it.'Strange feeling','itchy legs','fizzing blood'etc etc, all descriptions will get you very odd looks from whoever you are talking to.To find out more and a way to overcome it and get a good night sleep see below.Hope this helps.
