My friend keeps complaining about this feeling in her right arm and it sounds like Restless Leg Syndrome. Could it be? What should she do?She just had an MRI and it came out clean. She says she has trouble sitting still and her arm twitches and feels really uncomfortable and she feels like she want to"rip her arm off"to sleep.
No you can't. This syndrome is much over-used and mis-understood. I have it...and I have multiple sclerosis. Most patient with MS have this. What feeligns does she has in her arm? Numbness? Tingling? Unable to hold a fist or work her hands or fingers? No feeling whatsoever? Tremors or spasticity?Whatever the case, she needs to go to her doctor who may refer her to a neurologist. She should do it as soon as possible in case it's something that can progress quickly.
