I'm a cutter, and I want to stop. Are there ways other than being put on meds and talking to a shrink that could help me?(Don't respond if you're going to be a smart ass...)

I used to do that. What I needed was something to do when I felt like I needed to do it. I became a distance runner. As sick as it sounds, the pain of running replaced that pain. It took my mind off of what was disturbing me. I have been distance running for about 5 years and haven't been cutting. I am also a healthier person. It was hard to stop and it doesn't stop all at once. You will have urges every now and then, but after that it requires self control. Good luck.

Sounds like you should seek help. but you could maybe try putting a rubberband around your wrist and snapping it when you have anxiety.

You have to want to stop self-injuring before you can get on the long term road to recovery. Read these Self-Injury prevention techniques on chiropracticoflasvegas.com
