You can certainly function on 4 hours of sleep, but there have been studies done which show that after extended periods without sleep, a person's brain shows identical symptoms to being DRUNK.Also, they say that a good 45 minute nap is the perfect amount of time for a mid-day rejuvenation, so on the days that you are getting only 4 hours of sleep, if you can squeeze a nap in, you will do just fine.Good luck!
