What are some health benefits to smoking cigarettes?

Default What are some health benefits to smoking cigarettes? – 12-22-2008, 01:27 AM

Do you know of any benefits to smoking like once a week?I’ve smoke a few a month, I know smoking is good for one medical reason at least, I just can’t remember what it is.

Yeah, smoking is great for you. I believe it helps prevent lung cancer, and can actually prolong your life.Keep it up.

There are ZERO good reasons to smoke. You are misinformed if someone told you that there are any health benefits to cigarette smoking.

sean o, you are correct. there are benefits to smoking. obviously smoking is bad, and you shouldn’t do it, it has many horrible effects.

that does not change the fact that it does indeed have some positive effects.

here are two off the top of my head. if you aren’t bright enough to google this to prove it to yourself, i will gladly reference my statements.

1. it soothes and reduces symptoms for ulcerative colitis patients. (an intestinal immune disorder)

2. they can increase your metabolism to burn fat/calories faster

There are some doctors who say that two cigarettes a day can relieve some of the symptoms of certain bowel disorders, Chron’s Disease I believe. But even this is in great debate.

There are some advantages to smoke the cigarette like
1.Smoking improves human information processing.
2.Smoking has a protective effect on immunological abnormalities in asbestos workers
3.Smoking improves motor performance

Smoking that cause lung cancer and other disease which is not good for our health. It destroy our immune system. I don’t think so that smoking has benefit because smoking not only bad for our health but also it is dangerous for our family.
