I don’t think believing or not has much to do with it, if your body turns on you, there can’t be much DOT.
I had a hysterectomy at age 40 and even now at age 56 don’t know if I have any systems of menopause. I feel great most of the time. Never gained any weight. In fact put on an old snowsuit yesterday that I bought when I was 25 and it still fits like new.
My mother on the other hand had her last baby at age 46 and had a terrible time with menopause. I remember we had to wear coats and hats in the Calif. winters in the house because she was so hot the air conditioner was on!
Everyone is different.

I think I’d say, "Lucky you," while thinking, "You’re in denial."

It is mind over matter. Sometimes it really works. I had an easy time, also, except for the hot flashes. Aside from vitamins, I refused all medical pills, etc., as I am a previous cancer patient.

But some people who are not in good health to begin with will have a terrible time, and I feel sorry that they are suffering with it.

She has not started yet. After her first hot flash she will be a believer.

I am inclined to agree with her..I stopped having periods 20 years ago.., have never had a hot flash, mood swings or anything else everyone complains about..maybe it it hereditary as my mom sailed through it also without a problem..

Well, whether she believes in it or not, at some point it will happen. Her symptoms may be extremely mild and she may not be the least bit upset by them. I hear that there are many cultures in the world were women do not experience severe menopause like the women of North America.

Yeah, she might be telling the truth. Because i have heard many older women’s saying the same thing. So no doubt about it.
