In my opinion give some rest to your digestive system because it is very essential for its proper functioning. Juice cleanse is a popular method of detoxification and this gives a rest to our digestive system and heal our body. It supplies healthy vitamins and minerals to the body because fruits and vegetables are fully loaded with vitamins and minerals.

Eat more fiber. You’ve probably heard it before. But do you know why fiber is so good for your health?

Dietary fiber — found mainly in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes — is probably best known for its ability to prevent or relieve constipation. But foods containing fiber can provide other health benefits as well, such as helping to maintain a healthy weight and lowering your risk of diabetes and heart disease.

I would say that green vegetables are very good when it comes to taking nutritious food. Apart from that you should also take fiber laden foods.

I have a nutri-bullet and use it everyday for extracting fruits and vegetables. It is easy to use and clean up is fast. In general the darker a fruit or vegetable is – higher nutrient content is present.

The nutri-bullet is a blender like the magic bullet. It’s really handy to make lots of different kinds of smoothies. I believe it comes with recipes as well.

A good rule to go by when choosing healthy foods is focusing on fruits, veggies and lean proteins. If you look to a more vegetarian nutritional focus, then beans, tofu, tempeh…all good protein options. If you are including meat in your diet, then try to focus on organic, if possible. You can include skinless chicken breasts, fish, turkey, even pork chops/tenderloin can be a good option if lean.

I don’t believe in diets specifically. I mean, as often said, the first three words in the word diet are "die". Any diet you go on adjusts your body to a lower calorie/carb/fat count. Unless you live that way for life, then any time you go above that level that your body has adjusted to, it will be stored as fat. You need to eat nutritious food, focusing on fruits and veggies and plant based proteins and move out from there. Take the sugar, white flour, processed food out of your diet and fill it with a rainbow of produce and your body will love you. Your body is not a static number of how many calories/carbs/fat you should take it….it’s not a calculator. The body is a fluid thing, looking to be fueled naturally for life. Put good stuff in, feel good and experience good health.
