Default Are there any exercises to help or prevent carpal tunnel? - 01-04-2009, 12:55 PM

I feel like in the future I may suffer from carpal tunnel because I have pains in my wrists and fingers. I am looking for any preventative exercises I can to do to help this.

It's more a matter of rest than exercise. You have to avoid the activities that aggravate the condition. Since things you do often may be causing the condition, this might mean that you'll have to refrain from some activities that you enjoy until the condition has time to resolve. If it comes from typing, stop typing for a while, if you can."Natural"keyboards that are split at an angle can reduce the twisting of the wrist and can help some people quite a bit.
