Default What is the best combination of supplements and vitamins? - 12-28-2008, 11:57 PM

I'm looking to start taking some supplement and vitamins but I want to know which ones are really worth it. I know there are tons of supplements someone can take but which ones have the best results that can be proven? In example is it worth buy stuff like ginseng and milk thistle because sometimes supplements are quite expensive and if they don't yield any good results then why bother.

You've asked a good question, Enlightenment. Most of the supplements you buy on the market are useless, oftentimes, even the ones in so-called health food stores. This is such common knowledge now that nursing staff refer to vitamin pills as "bed pan bullets" because they shoot through the patient whole and can be seen in the bed pan.

However, that does not mean that there are not good vitamins and supplements. One must take the time to find a good source. You might want to click on my username as the company that I have in my profile is among the best out there. I personally have benefited greatly by their B12 product. Don't just start buying stuff, though. Do some reading. You'll find the information on each product very educational and gradually you will see why these products are so superior to most everything else.

Since almost no one eats 7 servings of vegetables per day and eat an overall balanced diet, take minimum an organic natural multivitamin. Organic are gentle on the stomach and have a higher absolution rate than the synthetic stuff. I would go with Nutrilite. They have organic farms in Washington State and California and were the first supplement company. As far as an organic multivitamin, take Nutrilite Double X Vitamin/Mineral/Phytonutrient. As you can see, it is more than a multivitamin. It also contains minerals and phytonutrient. There is also Nutrilite Daily Multivitamin/Multimineral if you are wanting something simple. I noticed a big difference in my energy level after just 5 days of taking double x. Go to Arcameda.com and click on vitamins then Multivitamin to get more information on these. For males, also take:Nutrilite Bio C PlusNutrilite Antioxidant ComplexNutrilite Ocean Essentials Brain HealthFor women take:Nutrilite Cal Mag DNutrilite Complex for Hair, Skin&NailsNutrilite Ocean Essentials Brain HealthThe Gensona General Nutrition Genetic Test is also a good suggestion. Hope all is well.

I would suggest a multi-vitamin and a multi-mineral supplement.. It has all the essential vitamins and minerals combined with bioflavonoids and L-glutamine, a nutrient that supports immune health. It is available in powder form, which, when mixed with water turns to an effervescent drink. The effervescence helps in the quicker absorption of all nutrients resulting in almost 100% digestion of all nutrients.

Glutamine can be bought at most any health food store and many protein supplements and meal replacement drinks have added glutamine. Undenatured whey protein has been clinically proven to boost Glutathione levels in the body and thus, strengthen the immune system.

Hello there!

I would strongly recommend taking Vitamin B Complex with Vitamin C or Complete Multivitamins that can be purchased at Hercules Vitamins online store.
